ABOUT US:
Nyborg Nelson Inc. (our parent company) is legendary. Nyborg & Nelson Inc. was the first company to feature Scandinavian
food items in midtown Manhattan NY, back in 1921!
This store was much loved, and a popular source for Lute Fish!
Nyborg & Nelson's second store opened around the corner. This store had 2 floors, including a restaurant, gourmet deli and a gift shop.
Local Swedish resident, Greta Garbo would shop there quite often!
By 1977 Nyborg Nelson had become very well known in the city. A third store opened in the Citi Corp Building, a few blocks away.
Nyborg Nelson was an immediate hit, with lines of people every day at lunch time. This store was open until 1995, when major renovations in the Citi Corp Center resulted in most of the shops vacating.
Today we are exclusively online as Sweden's Best. We currently ship anywhere within the USA, and to Canada.
Our goal is to make it easy to order classic Swedish food and other Scandinavian items online, at the best prices!

"My previous source of Cloudberry Preserves had stopped shipping for awhile. (I always try to have some in the house, and we use quite a bit of it.) So, I did some web searches for alternate sources. This is a Scandinavian product, and is hard to find in the U.S. I found a few places where I could get Cloudberry Preserves, and one seemed to have the best price, which was Swedens Best. I placed an order in the afternoon and got an immediate email confirmation. Later I received a shipping confirmation. From order placement to package received was only 3 days! The fragile jars of preserves were individually padded, and the whole box well padded, so everything arrived in perfect condition. Swedens Best is a great place to get hard to find imported products!
